What’s for Breakfast? Subway vs McDonalds

Subway vs. McDonalds

What up Hustlers? My name is Hurley Hustles and I love food. I love to eat fast food, home cooked food, high end restaurant food, free food, exotic food, pretty much everything. I love food so much that one day I am going to build up enough courage and ask food to marry me. I also love to talk about my food experiences, so I will on this blog.

I ate so much food last night that I gave it up forever. I then realized that was a dumb idea. First of all it is not healthy, and second Hurley loves the food.  When I came to from my food coma, I decided I would eat healthier rather than cutting my love out all together, besides I am getting old and could lose a few pounds.

I awoke today with a hard…decision to make, what is for breakfast? I usually go to Burger King because they have this BK breakfast sandwich for only a dollar, and it is like Mcdonald’s Mcmuffins in my opinion the Holy Grail of fast food sandwiches. I can only go to Mickey D’s every so often, because I swear they put crack in their food.  I sometimes find myself feining for just one bite.

I decided to Hustle to Subway to try their new breakfast items. Now I am following in the footsteps of a true Hustler Jared. If that fat ass Jared could hustle his way to a smaller pant size than so could I, and what better way then with breakfast.  I left early, because I don’t have a conveniently located Subway where I live. I ordered a western egg and cheese, which consists of your choice of egg or egg white omelet, black forest ham, green pepper, red onion, melted American cheese on a light wheat English muffin.  It was delicious, and it filled me up, very enjoyable. The sandwich has less than 200 calories and only has 4 grams of fat. This is pretty amazing considering it tastes so good!

Subway has more options on its breakfast menu also. There are different combinations such as bacon and steak, and you can add all the toppings you normally would ad if you went to Subway for lunch. I put some sweet onion sauce on my sandwich and it was extraordinary. You can even choose the bread your sandwich is on, there is flat bread, the English muffin or your choice of one of the many breads Subway has for a delectable six inch.  This breakfast is cheap too $1.50 for the sandwich and $2.50 to add a Seattle’s best coffee, which is also good. Subway breakfast saves you money and calories, which is what I call a deal. Hustle on down to Subway and see what I am talking about. Maybe you will be the next Jared Hustle?

Pros:  1) Good for you 2) Cheap 3) Delicious

Cons: 1) Doesn’t satisfy the urges brought on by Mcdonald’s 2) You leave smelling like yeast

3 out of five stars
