Hustlers vs Haters
In my previous writing (see The Hustler) I mentioned the difference between stealing and hustling and explained how hustling is a situation that increases productivity and how stealing is wrong because the time spent taking away from another person’s works could have been spent creating your own. I’ve come to the conclusion that haters work in a similar fashion, leading to a lack of productivity for both parties. So why hate?
What exactly is a hater? A hater can be defined as someone who sees potential in another, but instead of encouraging that individual to succeed, they simply try to discourage them so that they can remain on the same level, both financially and socially. A type of person who never had the balls to take a risk in attempt to create something new and unique. A type of person who can’t think outside the box and will simply follow the leader for the rest of their life. I guess this makes a hustler a leader in a way, because of their will to go out there and make things happen, regardless of society’s norms.
Haters seem to grow up with everything and appreciate nothing. While hustlers grow up with nothing and appreciate everything, especially success. Everyone has heard the expression “from rags to riches”. There is something very special and unique about a person who has been able to achieve success while constantly being faced with social and economic barriers that accompany the rags phase. Transitioning from the rags phase to the riches phase takes an unthinkable amount of energy and is better know as the grind.
I’ve already mentioned and defined hustlers and haters, but lets not forget about the most important part of achieving the dream, the facilitators. Facilitators aren’t hustlers or haters. They are your true friends and are the people who motivate a hustler to follow the dream, regardless of what the haters think. Facilitators actually hate haters and view them as unproductive wastes that break down the essence of creativity. Facilitators help keep the flow going and without their help, no hustler can create the dream.
Every successful hustler has someone in their life that plays the role of the facilitator and the facilitator is far from a thief, and works by enriching the soil that bears the seed. The seed will grow uncontrollably if proper conditions are met. When proper conditions are met, a hustler is born. Which one are you?
