Coach Sandoval Hines, also called Sandy, is an outrageously energetic, short-tempered Catholic School gym teacher. During his skits coach Hines grows infuriated by the disruptive behavior of his young students. While coach Hines is ranting, cursing, and threatening his children and the other observers, he is actually the one causing all the problems. Many of coach Hines hilarious, but sad problems are traced back to having a rough childhood.

Principle Lankenstein is coach Hines arch-rival and they are constantly arguing with one another as Hines interrupts the principle during his speeches. One of the students, Yaminashi, is one of the main targets of coach Hines, he is a teenage Asian kid(played by Bobby Lee), who is constantly being threatened by coach Hines. Coach Hines is famously known for his high leg kick and his famous quotes such as, “I will stab you in the neck with a pencil!”, and ” I’ll set you on fire!”

Coach Hines is a character created for the television show Mad TV. Many of you may have already seen these videos, some of you may even think they are stupid, annoying, or just dislike the skit.
