Bears Chew Up Lions 37-13

The Bears defense and special teams stepped up big Sunday, with special efforts by Devin Hester who returned yet another punt for 82 yards. That extended his NFL record for punt-return TDs to 12 and combined kick-return touchdowns to 17. Julius Peppers remained hot and forced one of two turnovers for the Chicago Bears in the first two possessions of the game.

The Bears intercepted 4 of Matthew Stafford’s passes and continued to bring the heat to opposing quarterbacks.  The Bears have turned things around of late and are making a run for the playoffs. As Green Bay continues to dominate the NFC, they better hope they don’t cross paths with the Chicago Bears come December. Give credit to Jay Cutler for managing yet another win for the 6-3 Bears. Could this be the year for the Chicago Bears?
